Vargel is a socks manufacturer in Turkey, producing private label, OEM, wholesale and custom socks from our manufacturing facility in Istanbul. We run at ten million pairs a year, start at 300 pairs per design, knit with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified yarns and ship worldwide.
Every sock we make is knitted to order. There is no stock catalogue you pick from — you tell us the construction, the yarn and the look, and we build it. In practice brands come to us for one of five things:
Your brand name on the label, your packaging, your barcode. Nothing on the product says Vargel. This is the majority of our work and the fastest route from idea to retail-ready stock.
You bring a full technical specification — gauge, yarn count, cuff tension, a physical reference sock — and we reproduce it. Common when you are moving production from another factory and cannot change the product.
Jacquard patterns, intarsia colourwork, logos knitted into the fabric rather than printed on top. If you can sketch it, we can usually knit it — and we will tell you honestly when a design will not survive a wash cycle.
Factory-direct bulk socks for distributors, retail chains and online sellers, priced per pair with no agent in the middle.

Turkey is one of the world's largest sock exporters, and Istanbul is the centre of it. For a European or North American brand the case is mostly about distance and flexibility rather than headline price:

The honest version: if you need two million pairs of plain black socks at the lowest possible cost and you can wait three months, Turkey is not your cheapest option. If you need design-heavy socks, small first runs, or stock back on the shelf before the season ends, the arithmetic changes completely.
That is our annual capacity, and we would rather give you the actual number than say "unlimited". Long-running programmes take roughly half of it; the other half is genuinely available and scheduled with you in advance.

Most sock manufacturers in Turkey will not open a conversation below 1,000 pairs. We start at 300 pairs per design and colorway, and sizes mix freely inside that. It exists so a new brand can test one design with real customers before committing cash to volume.
We are a knitter, not a spinner, so the certificates that matter are the ones on the yarn we buy and the audits you are allowed to run on us. We state exactly what we hold rather than implying more:
Our cotton, bamboo and polyamide yarns come from spinners holding current Standard 100 certificates — tested free of harmful substances. We pass the certificate numbers to you on request.
Available for sustainability-positioned lines. GOTS requires chain-of-custody certification, so tell us early and we arrange it before production rather than claiming it afterwards.
We ship from Istanbul to the EU, the UK, North America and the Middle East. Europe goes by road in 3–5 days; everywhere else by air or sea freight depending on volume and urgency. Export paperwork, customs documentation and EUR invoicing are handled here.
