How we build warmth
A thermal sock's warmth comes from trapped air, and trapped air comes from terry loops. Our winter builds use full terry construction — loops covering the entire interior, not just the sole — with optional brushing that raises the fiber for a fleece-like feel.
For serious outdoor lines we blend merino wool (naturally thermo-regulating and odor-resistant even when damp) with polyamide for durability. Work-sock programs add abrasion-resistant soles, ventilated insteps to manage sweat in boots, and high visibility color options.
