A tech pack is great, a sketch or reference photo is enough. We reply with a knit feasibility check and quote within 24 hours.
We knit a physical sample in 2–7 days and iterate until you sign it off. You approve yarn, colors, fit and packaging together.
Production, AQL inspection and delivery to your warehouse or 3PL — with every carton labeled to your spec.

Packaging sells the first pair; quality sells the second. We offer knitted-in logos plus:
Private label means the sock is developed for you and made only for you. You own the design, the label, the packaging and the barcode. Nothing on the product, the box or the carton says Vargel. When your customer holds it, it is your product in every sense that matters commercially.
That is different from two things people often confuse it with, and the difference decides how defensible your product is:
| White label | Private label | OEM | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you get | An existing generic sock with your label added | A sock designed for you, made only for you | Your exact specification reproduced |
| Who else can buy it | Anyone, including your competitor | Nobody | Nobody |
| You supply | A logo | An idea or sketch | A full technical pack |
| Time to first delivery | Fastest | Sampling plus 14–30 days | Sampling plus 14–30 days |
| Best when | Testing a market with no design budget | Building a brand you intend to keep | Moving production without changing the product |
We do private label and OEM. We do not do white label, because putting your logo on a sock that four other brands are also selling is not a brand — it is a temporary arbitrage.
First-time brands often delay because they think they need a full technical pack. They do not. This is the honest minimum:
A sketch or reference photo, the quantity you want, the size range, and your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF). That is genuinely enough for us to quote and sample.
Pantone references, a physical sock you like the feel of, your packaging idea, and your target landed cost per pair. Telling us your target price early saves a sampling round — we will say straight away whether it is reachable.
If you have a full tech pack, send it. If you have a photo on your phone, send that. We have started retail lines from both.
There is no single price per pair, and any factory that quotes one before seeing your spec is guessing. Four things move the number:
Volume then discounts all of it. Relative to a 300-pair run, expect roughly 15–25% lower at 1,000 pairs and 30–40% lower at 5,000. Our instant quote tool applies this to your own spec in about 30 seconds, without you emailing anyone.
Five designs at 300 pairs is 1,500 pairs of unproven stock. One design at 300 pairs tells you whether people buy it, and the money you did not spend funds the reorder of the one that worked.
Sock quality shows on the fifth wash, not the first wear — cuff recovery, pilling and colour hold all reveal themselves there. Wash it five times before you sign off. We would rather lose a week than have you find out at retail.
It is painful to fall in love with a five-colour merino jacquard and then discover it cannot hit your retail price. Get the range first, design inside it.
The socks can be made at 300 pairs; a custom printed box usually cannot — printers typically want 500–1,000 units. At small runs, woven labels and belly bands look retail-ready with no meaningful minimum.
Use the instant quote tool — pick your sock type, material and quantity and see a realistic unit price range immediately.
